The Gardens Mall is a popular destination for both locals and visitors in Palm Beach County and Palm Beach Gardens. The two-story enclosed shopping mall opened in 1988 and has become an upscale shopping destination.

The mall features 1.4 million square feet of space with over 160 boutique, specialty shops, restaurants and more to come. The Gardens Mall features five anchor stores Sear’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdales, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Recently the mall has added new shops, restaurants, and boutiques to their directory.  Some of the new retail stores include Peloton, South Moon Under, Carmen Sol, Kendra Scott, Tesla, Shake Shack, and True Food Kitchen.

Monday through Saturday: 11 am to 7 pm.

Jupiter Hills Club, 11800 SE Hill Club Terrace, is a private club and golf course in the Village of Tequesta juts past the Palm Beach/Martin County Line.  It is conveniently located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The Boca Raton Museum of Art recently announced a new summer art class aimed for children, teens, and adults at its Art School Campus. Children can join in on the Keep Kids Smart with Art classes this summer and adults of al ages can choose from a new art series of innovative artmaking experience.

Classes began on July 6th and will take place every week until August 14th. The classes are aimed to help the community and provide a creative environment with fun and colorful projects for all art skill levels.

Yesterday, the Palm Beach County School Board met to discuss the reopening plan for the upcoming school year. The meeting started at 2 pm yesterday, July 15th and lasted until late last night when the school board finally announced their decision early this morning just after midnight.

The Palm Beach County School Board voted 7-0 early this morning in favor of the superintendent’s recommendation to begin this upcoming school year with virtual learning. Students are supposed to be due back in the classroom on Monday, August 10th but due to the new decision for virtual learning the new start date has not been announced.

The Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida is hosting a three-day virtual summer camp for kids and space enthusiasts.

The virtual summer camp will feature hands-on missions inspired by real launches to the moon, science, technology, engineering and math activities. Kids will also get a change to take a virtual trip to Mars. The virtual summer camp is aimed for elementary school age students and is open to everyone around the United States.

The summer camp is an online three-day camp, with each session last three hours. Head to the beach this Saturday morning and join the team to help clean up the beach for the Jupiter Beach Clean Up.  The Beach Clean Up is being held by the Teach The Beach Foundation, an non-profit organization whose mission is to create awareness and educate the public about ways how they can conserve our local ocean and environment.

The Beach Clean Up is this Saturday, July 18th at Carlin Park at the Jupiter Civic Center. The Clean Up will begin at 9 am to 10:30 am and those who plan on attending are asked to bring a reusable bucket, a mask, and gloves.
