Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach, has been a center for Japanese art and culture in South Florida since opening in 1977. Morikami invites guests to discover South Florida’s history and connection with Japan, and explore a series of six diverse gardens, each inspired by a different historical period and style of Japanese gardening.

Pumpkin Towne pumpkin patches in Jupiter, as well as in the Wellington community. They are open as of October 6, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while supplies last. Pumpkins are wonderfully adaptable. The Mall at Wellington Green has announced it will be accepting drop-off donations from the public, local businesses, and charitable organizations for Hurricane Ian relief. The donation program began on October 6, 2022. The Mall at Wellington Green is located at 10300 West Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington. The Mall at Wellington Green is partnering with Stuart, based D.O.A. Fishing Lures, will transport donated items to Hurricane Ian besieged communities on the West Coast of Florida.

Donations will be accepted Monday – Friday at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday – Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The mall’s donation drop-off site is located on the first floor across from California Pizza Kitchen.

Palm Beach County has declared annually every second Saturday in December to be Andrew “Red” Harris Artificial Reef Day! The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris, a Jupiter resident, who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet in 2014. The foundation’s mission will help assure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment where Andrew loved to dive and fish. This will be a day to celebrate Andrew’s life and the reef work done in his memory.

The discussion is with six “Waves” exhibiting artists, whose work is currently on view at Arts Warehouse. The space is located at 313 N.E. 3rd Street in Delray Beach. Fun for the family at the Rock-n-Fall Festival. This two-day community festival that kicks off the fall season with great family fun, a variety of craft vendors, cold beer, merchandise, and a nice selection of savory foods.

The event is FREE and will include a Ferris wheel, a petting zoo, and Halloween fun featured at Rock-N-Fall Festival in Royal Palm Beach. Rock-n-Fall fest will take place October 8 and 9, 2022 between 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and includes live rock music.
