Please join this month’s Friends of Jupiter Beach Cleanup on Saturday, March 5, 2022, beginning at 8:00 am – 10:00 am. The March beach cleanup is sponsored by Florida, Power, and Light. We clean a two and ½ mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park crossovers 22-59. Head on over to Jupiter beach this Saturday morning and join the Friends of Jupiter Beach as they help clean up the area coastline.  Friends of Jupiter Beach is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally health, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter.

Join like-minded folks on Sunday mornings for a Sunrise Walking Meditation on Palm Beach Island’s Root Trail. The meditation is to a guided meditation track that takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. Every participant will be given a headset where you can hear the mediation throughout the walk. Lent is the season of fasting and prayer observed by most Christian denominations in the forty days leading up to Easter. A time for carefree celebration, Mardi Gras traditionally served to balance out the solemnity of the days that follow. To prepare for Lent, religious people emptied their pantries of indulgences like eggs, lard, and sugar. Using up the supplies as it was frowned upon by many Christian denominations during the 40-day Lenten fast.
