The popular South Florida Garlic Fest returns this weekend in western Palm Beach County. The festival features all things garlic and is one of the best parties of the year. 

 The festival features garlic infused goodies, from seafoods to burgers and even ice cream. With over 100 garlic infused dishes there is something for everyone to enjoy. The festival also features more than 150 exhibitors selling art, homemade goods, and products, a full bar, amusement park rides, sing-a-longs and much more. 

 The South Florida Garlic Festival rolls into town this Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th  at the Village Park Athletic Complex in Wellington. Tickets are available to purchase online or at the gate.

Polo Season has officially begun in South Florida. Every year, The National Polo Center in Wellington hosts its annual Polo Season that begins in January and goes through April. The hundreds of events attract thousands of spectators, world’s premier polo players, Olympian equestrians, and polo enthusiast each year to the area. 

The National Polo Center in western Palm Beach County is the ultimate social scene. The Center is home to the world-class equestrian competitions and the National Polo Center (NPC) showcases its tournaments to develop American players.

As a part of the most recent installment of the Art in Public Places initiative sculptures by renowned Wellington artist Colbert C. Collins will soon be on display in various locations in the Village of Wellington. Collins’ bronzes reflect an inner vision that life is “a discovery of the inherent design and relationship between all things.”

His pieces illustrate a fascination with movement and the significant bonds between people. Collins sculptures and collections span four continents, over 2public and private facilities, and more than 3,000 homes. If you are looking for free and enjoyable entertainment in the Wellington area, head on over to the Wellington Amphitheater for the free outdoor concert series featuring tribute bands and food trucks.  The tribute concerts take place during the month of June and concerts take place on Thursday nights, and select Friday and Saturday nights.

This Thursday, June 17, 2021, the Food Trucks and Concert Series returns to Wellington.  Scheduled for this Thursday is: GDR: A Tribute to the Greatest Decades of Rock.  Please bring your own seating or blankets. No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed.

The Wellington Bacon and Bourbon Fest is back again this year by popular demand. The festival will be held at the newly constructed Town Center Promenade this upcoming weekend. The festival will feature two of the most powerful words beginning with the letter B. Bacon and Bourbon will be everywhere.

The event will feature more than 60 artists and crafters, a giant menu of bacon infused culinary dishes, and a collection of over 40 rare bourbons and whiskeys. New to the festival this year, are the varieties of bourbon flights that will be available and provide attendees the opportunity to taste different brands from across the US.

The Winter Equestrian Festival is held in Wellington every winter and it is one of the largest annual sporting events held in Palm Beach County. The Equestrian show is also the longest-running equestrian event in the world. The event attracts national and international athletes competing for prizes, preparing for the Olympics, or just beginning their equestrian careers.

The Village of Wellington just celebrated a milestone birthday over the holiday weekend. The village was incorporated on December 31st, 1995 and this year marked its 25th anniversary.

Festivities occurred over the weekend at Green Park and the village leaders did everything they could to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Visitors remained in their cars for a socially distant firework display to help celebrate the village’s 25th anniversary and to help ring in the New Year.

The annual Winter Equestrian Festival starts this January at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington. Wellington is the home to the world’s premier winter equestrian event every year.

Each year participates range in age from 2 years old to 70 years old and more than 6,000 horses compete for more than a half a billion dollars. The Winter Equestrian Festival starts in early January and ends in late March. During the course of the three months, the festival is the longest and largest running horse show that sees some of the best riders of their class. Riders come from all 50 states and more than 52 countries and feature adult amateurs, juniors, children and Olympians.
