This free event for dogs and their owners that features a pet photo booth, a doggie lure track for your pets to run around and play, food trucks, splash dogs dock jumping, a kid’s zone, a free gift provided by many of the vendors onsite for the day. The Coral Sky Amphitheater is a 20,000-seat open-air venue at the South Florida Fair Grounds in West Palm Beach. The venue holds roughly 8,000 seats are covered by the venues awing and has about 12,000 lawn seats. The amphitheater hosts some of the biggest musical stars and events in the world.

The Amphitheater is run by Live Nation, one of the largest event promoter and venue operator in the world. The lineup for the Spring and Summer Concerts is jammed packed with great shows coming to the area.

The venue also includes parking, and food and drinks for purchase during the show. The Coral Sky Amphitheater is formally known as the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater.

The Palm beach Zoo and Conservation Society is a non-profit organization and one of Florida’s top-rated Zoological Organizations. The popular zoo is located in Dreher Park in West Palm Beach. The zoo is home to over 550 animals and over 190 different species. Many of the animals here are endangered and roam through the 23 acres of tropical habit. Most recently the Zoo has welcomed a new Baird’s Tapir Calf, or a Central American Tapir which are native to Mexico, Central America, and northwestern South America. The baby calf was born January 20th.

The Palm Beach Zoo has added their special events for the month of February to their calendar.

The 2019 Manatee Lagoon Festival is back again this weekend. The ManateeFest kicks off tomorrow Friday, February 1st with a Movie Night Kickoff.

The movie for the kickoff is “Finding Nemo” starting at 5 pm. Bring your chairs and blankets for the movie under the stars to kick off the fun event. Food and drink vendors will be on site during the movie night.

Construction has been ongoing at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts since May 2018. The popular West Palm Beach theater is in the middle of a $50 million-dollar renovation expected to be completed in 2020. The expansion project is part of their “Kravis 2020: The Future is Now” vision which plans to improve the audience experience without adding more theater seats.

The 22-month renovation plans call for to enlarge the front lobby to allow for more guests, update the front garden area for a larger pedestrian plaza facing Okeechobee Boulevard, and to change the traffic patterns to and around the venue. January’s Schedule:

Early Explorers: Feathered Friends for children ages 3-4 years old: This Saturday, January 12th, the Palm Beach Zoo is hosting an early explorer workshop designed for preschool aged children. The workshop includes an interactive educational experience that features stories, games, crafts, visits to animal habitats, and up-close animal encounters throughout the Zoo or their nature area. Art Palm Beach is back again in Palm Beach County for another season. Next week the art fair comes to the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

The Annual fair is in its 22nd year and will feature more than 75 local and international galleries. The number is up from last year that featured 60 galleries. The fair is run by Next Level Fairs and they are reshaping the art fair concept for this year by connecting the exhibitors and collectors in new ways. Next Level Fairs are also the founders of Art Miami and Art Asia Hong Kong.
