The 10th Annual Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival is happening this Saturday in Sanborn Square Park. This is a great event for those looking to eat new food and try new wines. The event will also feature a variety of spirits, sparkling wine, champagne, and delicatessen, oils & vinegar, meats and cheeses, coffee and roasting products.

There will be a variety of chefs sampling some of their favorite dishes served at local restaurants as well as sommeliers and other wine experts there to help you make the right choice to perfectly complement your delicious food.

There will also be live entertainment and places to hang out and socialize with family and friends. And while the event is geared toward adults’ kids are certainly welcome.

On September 6th, Café Boulud of Palm Beach will focus its dinner event on the classic qualities of  wines produced by “family owned properties” in northern Spain. Their resident sommelier, Imre Papp, has artfully chosen a selection of Spanish wines for the evening, including a reserve by Eladio Piñeiro planned to be served at the event’s 6:45 p.m. reception.

Dinner commences at 7 p.m. with a four-course menu orchestrated by executive chef Rick Mace and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini, with each course paired with specific wine chosen by Papp.

On the last Thursday of the month, the Creative Arts School at the Old School Square in Delray Beach invites local residents to join a social night called Canvas & Cocktails where you can create a masterpiece and enjoy an evening of fellowship.

The classes are from 7-9 p.m. and costs $36 all-inclusive. In a nice relaxed atmosphere, you can do some therapy painting while sipping on a glass of wine, craft beer or cocktails. An instructor will teach the class step-by-step so your painting will be something amazing. There's calming music in the background and the Cornell Art Museum is open to explore. It's the perfect date night, girls night out or group get together.
