This Weekend At The Loggerhead Marinelife Center
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is a sea turtle rehabilitation, research and education center. The center is a non-profit that promotes the conservation of the ocean’s ecosystems and focuses on endangered and threatened sea turtles.
The center offers onsite rehabilitation center for injured and endangered sea turtles, aquariums, research laboratories. The Center continues to monitor the turtles progress for their recovery before releasing the sea turtle back into the ocean.
Every day the center hosts numerous events and this weekend there is plenty of events for everyone to enjoy.
Friday, September 13th: Public Guided Tours at 2 pm
Public Guided Tours: The tours are offered seven days a week and includes a tour throughout the facility and sea turtle hospital to see the current sea turtles in the hospital. The tour lasts an hour long and the Marinelife center staff is there to answer all of your questions. Tours are $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for children under 8. Sunday, September 15th:
Turtle Talk: A program designed for children 8 years old or older to educate the public about sea turtle biology, conservation and ecology. The 30-minute lecture style program begins at 10:30 am, click here to register.

Dr. Logger Show: Dr. Logger is an educational ambassador for sea turtles and hosts an event every Sunday to help educate the audience on the life of a sea turtle. The show begins at 1 pm, click here to register.
