This weekend, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting several events for the whole family to enjoy.

Friday, July 5th:

Junior Marinelife Biologist Summer Camp: the interactive summer camp is aimed for children ages 6 through 17 years old. The program is educational and those who attend will gain an understanding on marine biology and ecology. The camp is from 9 am to 4 pm, click here to register.

Public Guide Tours: The tours are offered 7 days a week and includes a tour of the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The tour starts at 2 pm and last an hour, click here to register.

Evening Guided Tours: The tour includes an after-hours tour and a behind the scenes experience of the outdoor sea turtle hospital. The tour starts at 6 pm, click here to register.

Turtle Walks: is an unique program aimed for those who wish to learn and observe the sea turtle nesting process. The night starts at the Marinelife Center, followed by guests heading to the beach to watch and observe the sea turtle nesting process. The event is very popular and is limited to space based on State issued permits. Click here to register and to learn more. The Turtle Walk starts at 9 pm.

Saturday, July 6th:

Public Guided Tour: Occurring at both 12 pm and 2 pm
Fish Feeding: 3:30 pm
Evening Guided Tour: 6 pm
Turtle Walk: 9 pm

Sunday, July 7th:

Turtle Talk: an interactive program for children ages 8 years old and older. The program is aimed to educate children on sea turtles biology, ecology and ocean conservation. The program starts at 10:30 am, click here to register.

Public Guided Tours: Occurring both at 12 pm and 2 pm

Dr. Logger Show: Dr. Logger is the sea turtle ambassador and through his interactive program educates those on sea turtles and other various topics related to Marinelife. The event starts at 1 pm every Sunday, click here to register.
