Every March, the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery in Lake Worth gets covered in flowers and floral art to celebrate the coming of Spring!

Painters, photographers, and florists come from all over the country to participate in the display. The walls, pedestals, vases, and everything else gets covered in floral art in every color of the rainbow. Some art is abstract, some is realist, some is in the form of jewelry, and some bouquets. Local high school students also hang their art, which gets judged and awarded first, second, and third with cash prizes. It is a way to encourage youth to engage in art culture, bring the community together to see something unique and different, and celebrate the upcoming season.

Palm Beach County's Population Growing

According to recent reports, Palm Beach County is one of Florida’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. Palm Beach County’s population growth has risen 2.8 % percent, coming in behind Orlando and Fort Myers.

The most recent population estimate done in 2016 by the U.S. Census Bureau said the area was home to 1.44 million people. The recent reports have predicted that the population will hit 1.5 million this year, two years earlier than The University of Florida’s Bureau of Economic and Business Research have predicted.

Downtown at the Gardens Weekend Concerts

Every week the Downtown at the Gardens hosts its weekly Friday night Concert in the Court in Palm Beach Gardens.

The free concert series features a mixed musical lineup of regional and local bands playing everything from pop, to country, to jazz, rock n’ roll, and everything in between. The next concert is tonight and starts at 6 pm until 9 pm in the Centre Court of the outdoor shopping center.

The much anticipated Festival Italiano happening this weekend at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.

For the past 8 years, Festival Italiano has drawn thousands for a weekend of food, music, games, and fun! It takes place on the huge lawn in front of the PSL Civic Center; there's carnival rides, car and bike shows, tons of vendors for crafts and food, nonstop live music, eating contests, tournaments, and much more.

The 17th Annual Barry Crown Walk for the Animals Palm Beach

Taking place March 10th is the 17th Annual Barry Crown Walk for the Animals in honor of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue. You and your family and friends can join Team Salty Dog Paddle in a fun walk along a scenic route. This year the walk is at a brand new location, City Place. 

The walk winds its way throughout City Place’s beautiful grounds. Both before and after the walk will be fun events food and drink vendors and of course pet friendly vendors. Gatsby in Palm Beach Gardens

Ballet Palm Beach is presenting an original ballet based off the book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Set in the roaring twenties, a heartbreaking story is told by Jay Gatsby's neighbor Nick Carraway. Carraway is one of the few who gets to know Gatsby while everyone else only knows little about him other than that he is rich and mysterious. Carraway sees beyond the luxury dream life of Gatsby and finds a very sad man who is madly in love with Daisy, a woman taken by someone else.

Okeechobee Music Festival

The Okeechobee Music and Art Festival is an annual 4-day event that takes place on an 800-acre property called Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida, located within an hour drive from Palm Beach County.

The first festival was held in March of 2016. The first year the festival drew over 32,000 visitors over the four days to see big artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Mumford & Sons.

Spring Training Games at the Roger Dean Stadium

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Baseball Stadium in Jupiter hosts two major league teams for spring training; the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals.

This Friday, February 23rd is the first spring training game and the Marlins and the Cardinals will be playing each other. Grab your mitt and head over to the stadium for America's favorite pastime. The game starts at 1 p.m., a great time for a hotdog and a cold beer.
