There’s a new vegan restaurant opening this Friday in West Palm Beach. The restaurant, aptly named “The New Vegan,” was founded with the mission to bring good nutritional food to Delray Beach. They offer a 100% vegan menu, including dairy free, soy free, wheat & gluten free, and GMO free food. They also offer a burger mix, meal plans, and school lunches.

The Natural Area Festival is a great outdoor event coming up in Palm Beach County for kids (Ages 8 and up) and their parents. During the event, which is hosted by the Winding Waters Natural Area in West Palm Beach, you and your child will work as a team to navigate through the woods using a compass, map, and your sense of direction.

A quick lesson will be given along with compasses to use (not to keep). This hike as an extra special SURPRISE that’s will elevate the fun. Additional spots will be available on the day of the festival.

The Sea Turtle rehabilitation and research hospital in Juno Beach hosts many activities throughout the week and weekend. This Sunday the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting four family friendly events for you to check out.

Turtle Talk: is an interactive program geared to visitors 8 years old and older. The Turtle Talks feature a lecture style program designed to educate visitors about sea turtle biology, ecology, and conservation followed by a tour. The presentation will be 20 minutes long followed by two 5-minute discussions about the sea turtle rescues and rehabilitation. The program last about 30 minutes and run every Sunday until April. The Turtle Talks starts at 10:30 am. Click here to register.
