The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting their reoccurring monthly Ocean Explorers After Dark event for kids this Friday night.

Come and experience the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center after hours for a engaging opportunity and hands on experience for children to explore and experience the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The program is geared toward children ages 6 to 10 years old and each month the program will feature a different unique theme.

The night includes a tour of the Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital, a chance to participate in interactive games and lessons and pizza. The event is a drop-off event only and the drop off time starts at 5:30 pm to 6 pm and pick up time is from 9 pm to 9:30 pm.

The newest addition of incredible mom-and-pop restaurants in the area, Tequesta Café opened on the corner of U.S. 1 and Waterway Road in Tequesta where Corner Café used to be.

The owner, Michael Wolford, is a doctor at the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach, but he has put an enormous amount of energy and pride into crafting the atmosphere and unique breakfast and lunch items at Tequesta Café.

Wolford speaks very highly of his kitchen staff and has decorated the walls with 1950’s photos of the Tequesta area.
