Lionfish in Delray Beach is now open as the new Atlantic Avenue hotspot for sustainable seafood and local organic fare. Lionfish provides fresh-catch cuisine, grass-fed meats and local, seasonal ingredients in a chic yet approachable, casual setting.

While serving more than just mouth-watering food, Lionfish is also doing its part to help save the ocean’s ecosystem by serving its namesake Lionfish, a species that is ravaging the ocean, particularly the Caribbean, by devouring fellow sea life and damaging coral reefs. The rare, delicious white flaky fish will be served in a multitude of ways, including whole fried and as the centerpiece of a citrus-infused ceviche. Every Lionfish removed from the ocean helps preserve future generations of other fish.

While the beach has historically been a good place for casual wear, the 1910 motorboat races in Palm Beach provided a place to see and be seen, as you can see in this image of the spectators by Bain News Service.

The Palm Beach Motor Boat Regatta was held annually by the Palm Beach Power Boat Association. Palm Beach society and high society from northern states would  set up chairs and umbrellas on Palm Beach to watch "speedy" motor boats race at a speed around 20 miles per hour.

It may have taken a few extra weeks, but Southeastern Conference football is back! The No.5 Florida Gators will kick off their abbreviated 2020 campaign on Saturday as they travel to Oxford, MS to face Ole Miss.

The Gators, led by head coach Dan Mullen, will head into the season with lofty expectations despite some unknown holes from last season. However, Florida will have last season’s pleasant surprise in Kyle Trask under center. Trask, who stepped into the starting position last season when Feliple Franks was lost to injury, threw for almost 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2019. The Gators may sprinkle in highly touted Emory Jones to spell Trask at points, but this will Trasks’ team in 2020.

The defense will be stout as ever, the quarterback is…
