Taco Tuesday is a customary day in many US cities. The day consists of going out and eating tacos at some of the best local restaurants in the area.

Taco Tuesday came about in 1989, when a Wyoming-based fast food restaurants Taco John’s was granted the trademark for “Taco Tuesday” but many believed to have used the name prior.  After years of the name and popularity of the idea, many local restaurants and fast-food chains caught on and made it official in 2016. On the morning of Jan. 19, 1977, snow fell in Palm Beach County.  I remember this day clearly as if it were yesterday!  I was in sixth grade at a small private school in West Palm Beach. It was 6:15 am and we left the house to get into my mother’s car for the long ride from the north end of the county south end to school.  On this exceptionally cold morning we blew “smoke” from our mouths with delight. Several sizable moving trucks arrived at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club on Palm Beach Monday morning.  The siting ignited conjecture that he and the family will be relocating to South Florida once he leaves office.

At least two trucks from J.K. Moving Services were positioned in front of Mar-a-Lago along with workers carting large moving boxes into the property.

Police expect Trump to arrive in South Florida on Inauguration Day. Tight security was evident with a United States of America helicopter and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office helicopter hovering over Mar-a-Lago and marine patrol boats monitoring things on the waterways.

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 18, 2021. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and social rights activist in the United States in the 1950s and ’60s. He was a leader of the American civil rights movement. He organized several peaceful protests as leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, including the March on Washington in 1963. Dr. King led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968.
