The 2021 Old Bahama Bay Wahoo Charity Cup is actually the postponed tournament from November of 2020, and will take place on February 4th-6th at OBB Resort & Marina in West End Grand Bahama to benefit Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.

In 2019, a total of 37 boats registered, and Team LLANGUS earned first place overall with a 132.7lb three-fish aggregate. Second place went to CORKS CREW with a 130.7 lb aggregate and biggest tuna at 24.2 lbs. 45’ Gamefisherman CHIEF placed third place overall with 126.4 pounds of wahoo.

The first year of the tournament paid out over $40,000 in prize money and raised over $105,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma NI.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting three events this week. Head to the lighthouse this week to attend one of their events or tour the Lighthouse Grounds and Museum or climb to the top of the lighthouse to see the incredible view of Jupiter.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Monday, January 25th at 6 pm

Head to the lighthouse tonight and enjoy and peace and serenity of Yoga at sunset. The outdoor yoga class is taught by Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck. Beginners and all levels of yoga are welcomed to attend the class. Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats and a bottle of water. Registration is required due to limited space and the class costs $10 dollars to attend.

The quaint seaside Town of Hobe Sound is celebrating the 20th Anniversary Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts.  The festival returns with the some of the nation's top artists and skilled craft artisans. This 2-day event is a socially distanced outdoor art show and craft marketplace.  The festival is a community event taking place on Dixie Highway from Bridge Road to Venus Street.

For the past 20 years thousands of local residents and visitors have been invited to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics and more.  Artists are present on site to chat and discuss their inspirations as well as the processes for each unique piece.

Located in the Great Lawn area of Mounts Botanical Garden, 531 North Military Trail in West Palm Beach is this massive sculpture was designed by internationally acclaimed artist, Patrick Dougherty.  The Stickwork sculpture is created from 30,000 pounds of willow during a three-week “community build” project in which over 100 volunteers lent a helping hand.

Patrick Dougherty and his son/building partner, Sam Dougherty, along with the volunteers, completed the installation in a total of 632 hours over 159 shifts. Completed on January 26, 2019, visitors are now able to stroll through, appreciate, and become one with a living art experience!

Tiger Woods and back problems are as synonymous and Tiger Woods and major championships, especially over the past few years.

With four back surgeries already to his name, Tiger announced on Tuesday that he recently underwent a fifth back procedure, another microdiscectomy. That's right, Woods now has as many back operations to his name as Green Jackets in his closet.

Tiger, who won the 2019 Masters, completing one of the most compelling and improbable comebacks in sports history announced in his statement that due to the procedure he will miss the West Coast Swing, including the Farmers Insurance Open and the Genesis Invitational, and event he hosts through his charity.
