Every day the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts a Public Guided Tour for chance for the public to get a tour of the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center.  The tours are offered at several different times each day, and on select Monday nights, the center hosts a Public Guided Tour Hospital Edition.

The Hospital Edition offers a special behind the scenes access tour inside the sea turtle hospital. Guest will get to see where the sea turtle patients receive treatment and will learn about the different causes of the patients injuries. During the tour, light bites and refreshments will be provided.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 East Indiantown Road, Jupiter, renovation project is five years in the making and a labor of love.  The expansion will include creating a Broadway-scale stage so we can produce the next Broadway hit or national tour. It is sensational because most regional theaters across the country do that for Broadway shows.

The Maltz is presently undergoing a $30 million expansion. They are ahead of schedule.  The work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2021.  Planning to have a grand reopening in time for next season. The renovation also includes an advanced dining experience, expanded Conservatory and lobby.  An impressive, redesigned entrance and a second 199-seat theater space.

Head on over to Jupiter beach this Saturday morning, May 1, 2021 and join the Friends of Jupiter Beach as they help clean up the area shoreline.  Friends of Jupiter Beach is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally health, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida.

In 1994, the threat of closing the beach to dogs rallied a small group of concerned citizens, who quickly began organizing beach cleanups and providing dog waste bags at beach crossovers. Since then, the group has exploded, with individuals and businesses joining in an effort which “repeatedly demonstrate care for their marine environment and the privilege of taking our four-footed friends to one of the last dog beaches in the area”.

The gardens will offer a selection of vegetables and herbs in two garden beds to be donated to Quantum House in Palm Beach County. Bring your dog to the beach. Welcome to Jupiter in North Palm Beach County where well behaved dogs and their conscientious owners are welcome on a 2 ½ mile stretch of magnificent beach! The beach that permits dogs starts at Beach Marker #25 located at Marcinski Road and proceeds north to Beach Marker #60.  Dogs are not allowed south of #25 in Juno Beach towards the pier. In Addition, crossover #43 is handicap accessible! Having dogs on the beach is a privilege, not a right. 

Please help keep the existing Town of Jupiter policy in effect by following these commonsense rules.
