Movie Night

Featuring the hit movie "Coco," this movie night is double the fun with a gourmet food truck invasion- 15+ trucks at Commons Park in Royal Palm Beach. The Expo Center at the South Florid Fair Grounds is hosting the 16th Annual Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction. The Auction is known as one of the world’s finest collector car events.

The Auto Auction makes just four stops on its exclusive roadshow and West Palm Beach is one of them. The Show comes to town the April 12th through April 15th. Multiple auctions take place during the four-day event and more than 50,000 thousand people gather to view the cars every year. Registration has opened for the 28th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run, Saturday, May 5th hosted by the Town of Jupiter.

All runners are welcomed to join the 3.1-mile race along the Jupiter beach. The race course is flat and fast starting at A1A and Marcinski Road. Runners will start at the starting line and run 1 mile down A1A before turning around and coming back before ending at the finish line in Ocean Cay Park. Several water stations will be available along the race route for the runners. Click here to view the route.

Runners will receive a free t-shirt and a finishing medal for completing the race. Trophies will be rewarded to the winners ranging from 1st place to 3rd place for all age groups and genders.

A brand-new dog park on Jupiter’s Indiantown Road is scheduled to open summer 2018. The Town of Jupiter has approved a new park which includes and an exercise and play area for our furry friends.  The park is an open space located directly north of the intersection on Indiantown Road and Center Street at 2183 West Indiantown Road in Jupiter. The park will be completed in two phases. 

In the first phase, the open space park will contain a beautiful green area, ample parking with lighting, a small restroom, a building for storage, sidewalks, gazeboes, a lake, and the dog park. There will be a fenced-in dog run for smaller dogs and a detached dog run for larger breeds

The people who have owned property in Jupiter for generations have been drawn to this location for 100 years because of the small-town ambience and abundant blue waterways. Recently subdivided was a 160-acre property located at 16133 Jupiter Farms Road, Jupiter.  It had an extensive and fascinating history.  Back in the 1920’s, the rutted dirt main road was called Italian Farms Road because of the prevailing ethnic makeup of the area at the time. It is rumored to have been a hoodlum hideout belonging to the family of Al Capone, the noted Chicago gangster.
