For golfers, a hole-in-one is kind of the holy grail of the sport. It's something we all achieve for but is almost impossible to actually achieve.

Don't tell that to Jack Nicklaus.

Competing in the annual Masters Par 3 Contest on Wednesday with playing partners Gary Player and Ben Crenshaw, who filled in for the still injured Arnold Palmer, the North Palm Beach resident recorded a hole-in-one on the fourth hole after hitting his shot 15 feet past the hole and watching it spin back and in the cup.

Making it even more special was the fact that it was the first time Nicklaus ever recorded an ace at Augusta National in any facet. Before yesterday he had never done it in a recreational, practice, or tournament round.

From April 16th to April 18th, the Jupiter High School's Color Guard will be competing in the 2015 Color Guard World Championships put on by WGI in Dayton, Ohio.

The competition will begin on Thursday the 16th with the preliminary rounds, concluding with the finals on Saturday the 18th.

The Jupiter High Color Guard has had an incredibly memorable 2015 up to this point. In the month of March, they not only won their division in the Orlando area Color Guard finals, but they returned a few weeks later and won their division in the Southeast Regional Color Guard finals as well. Both times they scored the highest in Jupiter High School Color Guard history

The calendar has turned to April, meaning that spring is officially here.

For us golf fans, that can only mean one thing, The Masters is upon us. The azaleas have begun the bloom, the pimento cheese sandwiches are being made, and come Thursday we will get a "hello friends" from Jim Nantz.
