Lee Westwood ened a two year winless drought in dominating fashion, winning the Malaysian Open on the European Tour Sunday.

Westood went wire-to-wire to win the event despite having to sit through a four hour weather delay in the middle of the final round. The Old Palm resident shot a final round 68 to win by seven shots for his 36th career victory.

It's a golf course that suits my game; it's very tight in certain areas. I played well, I putted well, and the short game is good," Westwood said.

Westwood's final round 68 was enough to allow him to ease to victory over neighboor and fellow Old Palm resident Louis Oosthuizen who won the event in 2012. Oosthuizen finished in the three way tie for second at 11-under par.

For the second time in three years, Bubba Watson slipped on the Green Jacket in the famed Butler Cabin as the champion of the Masters. Unlike two years ago, when he had to hit a miraculous shot out of the pine straw on the second playoff hole to beat Old Palm resident Louis Oosthuizen, Watson came down the final stretch with the tournament all but locked up.

Watson didn't have the command that he did late early on in the final round of the season's first major though. Watson entered the final round in a two way tie for the lead with 20 year old Jordan Speith and early on in the round lost the lead. Going into the eighth hole on Sunday, Speith held a two stroke lead and was looking to surpass Tiger Woods and become the youngest winner in Masters…

Woods had planned on taking the next few weeks off as he was attempting to recover for another trip to Augusta National next week. After consoling with his doctors he decided that surgery was needed, preventing him from…

On a day where the golf course was playing tough and the top of the leaderboard was dropping shots left and right, Russell Henley survived a four man playoff to win The Honda Classic at PGA National.

With the wind swirling for most of the day, the Champions Course made some of the best golfers in the world look like mere mortals on Sunday, leading to an exciting and action packed finish. Rory Mcllroy entred the final round with a two shot lead and despite a four-over 74, managed to hold onto the lead for the majority of the day. Michael Allen became the first ever wire-to-wire winner of the Allianz Championship Sunday when he outlasted Duffy Waldorf on the second playoff hole at the Old Course at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton.

The 55 year old Allen held at least a share of the lead for all three rounds after he started off with a first round 60 on Friday. Missing a three-foot birdie putt on 17 on Sunday sent Allen and Waldorf to a playoff. Both golfers birdied the par 5 18th on the first playoff hole. The second time around, Allen birdied it once again while Waldorf pared it, securing the victory for Allen.

After failing to record a win during his PGA Tour career, Sunday’s victory was Allen’s sixth on the Champions Tour and the first at Broken Sound. Defending…
