ArtLive is back in Hobe Sound this Saturday at Orion Turtle. The event is a great place to explore works by local artists like Sophie Ledeme, Corina Pelloni, Chad Periman, J.R. Ringdahl, Mikel Sowers, Josh Zerbe and more.

The art scene is expanding in the Palm Beaches, especially because of the number of emerging artists coming from the area. For residents, this is great, it leads to more show and cultural events.

The Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the 57th year of the Delray Affair this Saturday, April 12th. If you and your family are looking to enjoy some art and have fun in the sun come on out to Delray Beach!

Nicknamed the “Greatest Show under the Delray Sun”, the Delray Affair is one of the largest arts & craft festival in the Southeast United States. Guest Conductor Gerard Schwarz will be leading the Palm Beach Symphony in a rendition of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K 414 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 in E Major this Friday at the Kravis Center.

The show will also include a performance by legendary Pianist Leon Fleisher. In the 1950s, Fleisher signed an exclusive recording contract with Columbia Masterworks. He is particularly well known for his interpretations of the piano concerti of Brahms and Beethoven, which he recorded with George Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra. They also recorded Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25, the Grieg and Schumann piano concertos, Franck's Symphonic Variations, and Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
