This upcoming Father’s Day weekend, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center will be hosting their 10th Annual Run 4 The Sea. The run is to help raise awareness and raise money for endangered sea turtles and for ocean conservation. This year, the race will be a little different than previous years. The Run 4 The Sea is going virtual, and runners will get to pick its location.

The run, even though virtual, will still benefit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s mission to promote the conservation of the ocean’s ecosystems with a special focus on endangered and threatened sea turtles. Opening June 15, 2021, a new place will grace the Delray Beach culinary scene. Warren American Whisky,  is an “American whiskey kitchen” within a 6,000 square-foot space (with 4,000 of that indoors and 2,000 outdoors).  The eatery will feature wood flooring, dim lighting, and rich leathers and velvets.

The owner, Jeff John, has the intention with Warren is to pay homage to his late uncle, Warren John.  The uncle is described as “an illustrious bachelor, collector of unique artifacts, and lover of fine whiskey and food.” In creating the restaurant, John wanted every detail to work together to honor his uncle’s legacy—and make kindred spirits feel right at home.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach is offering the “Kravis Creates! Virtual Summer Arts Program” from July 21 – July 30, 2021. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach will launch its Kravis Creates! Virtual Summer Arts Program beginning June 21. The virtual summer arts program is beginning June 21st with weekly sessions that will offer young artists ages 7 to 18 the opportunity to connect and create through the arts. 

Virtual participants will be guided through week-long workshops in disciplines like acting, dance, playwriting, spoken word, and stop motion filmmaking by Kravis Center professionals. The program is sponsored by Rita and Charles Bronfman.

Every month, the Loxahatchee River Center in Jupiter pairs up with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” to provide a series of Boating Safety Course aimed for young boaters in our community. The classes are aimed for young boaters however, all are welcomed to learn more about safety on the water.

The next Boating Safety Class is happening this Saturday and Sunday and the course is completely virtual. The class will be online and taught in a lecture style class. The two-day class is free to attend but a deposit of $10 dollars is asked to hold your spot in the class. The deposit will be returned once the course is over. The iconic Henry M. Flagler Museum is one of the most well-known estates on Palm Beach Island.  The museum was once home to Henry M. Flagler and his wife Mary. Flagler was an American Industrialist and known as one of the island’s founders. The grand estate features more than 100,000 square feet of space that is filled with some of the most about history about the Gilded Age and Palm Beach.
