Atlantic Tarpons are considered one of the great saltwater game fishes.  Because of their size and because of their fighting spirit when hooked they are a prized fish. They are very strong, making mighty leaps into the air into the air to spit out the hook. In Florida and Alabama, a special permit is required to catch and keep a tarpon, so most tarpon fishing there is catch and release. Tarpon flesh is not desirable and extremely boney.

Palm Beach County's award-winning park system offers the widest possible range of leisure opportunities and with over 8,000 acres of accessible parkland to discover. Watersports sports, fitness, ecological, and cultural opportunities abound, as well as restful places for peace and quiet.

One of the newest parks is Waterway Park in Jupiter. The $7 million park opened just three months ago.  April 2017 the new park unlocked a new Intracoastal entry point for the community. Located on the west side of the waterway at the base of the Indiantown Road bridge.

A jumbled, jam-packed closet will stress you out every time you get dressed.  It’s important to constantly manage your closet so that you only keep the things you love.  Instead of having a ton of things you don’t like or won’t wear.  Having less in your closet means having more, because when you only have good-quality pieces that you know how to put together you will always have something to wear. The Rustic Inn Seafood Crabhouse restaurant on the Jupiter Inlet closed last Saturday night, May 20, 2017. Rustic Inn opened in January, 2015, in the previous location of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on the Jupiter Inlet just south of U.S. 1, next door to Jetty’s restaurant.

Charles Modica, local Jupiter developer, bought the four-acre restaurant property last November for $8.3 million. The other two parcels owned by Modica, all are on the Jupiter Inlet. The other two projects are known as Love Street and Suni Sands.

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday in May.  It was formerly known as “Decoration Day” and it commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States of America.  Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is known as the informal start of the summer season!

This Memorial Day weekend try something that involves beach, fun and sand.Peanut Island, the 80-acre tropical island located at the west end of the Palm Beach (Lake Worth) Inlet.
