Geocaching is a fun outdoor activity for all ages. It’s a real-life treasure hunt using your GPS. Participants navigate a set of GPS coordinates to find the geocache (container) hidden in a specific location.

Here’s how it works:
Download the “Geocaching” app on your phone.
Once you sign up, the app will display all the hidden geocaches close to you.
Here’s an example what it looks like around the Stuart area. 


Click on the geocache that you want to find.

A hint will appear on your screen.

Click “start” and your navigation will take you to the coordinates of the geocache. 

Once you get there, use the hint to find exactly where the container is hidden.
When you find it, open it up and sign your name and date in the logbook.
