The 21st Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Palm Beach

The 21st Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Palm Beach is coming to town this Saturday, December 5, 2015. It is a cherished event in the area and local residents prepare for it for weeks. 

A major event of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC) and festive present to society, the Annual Holiday Boat Parade will set the bar even higher this year. The 2015 21st Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade kicks off the holiday season this year on Saturday, December 5!

In years past the famous Palm Beach Boat Parade collected more than 18,000 toys for needy children in Palm Beach County!  Favorite area businesses and local municipalities continue providing ongoing support for the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County event.

South Florida Home Prices Sustain Steady Growth

The latest quarterly report by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), released November 12, 2015, asserting that median prices for existing homes in metropolitan areas continued to climb in the third quarter of 2015, but at a healthier pace that could entice more homebuyers into the market.

"Many of the metro areas with the fastest price appreciation over the past year were in the South — particularly in Florida," says Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist. 2015 JENSEN BEACH PINEAPPLE FESTIVAL ... November 13 - 15

The Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival is in its 28th year history this weekend, November 13 -15, 2015.  The festival is one of the remaining few true street festivals in South Florida and one of the largest!  The weekend of festivities acknowledges the “community’s rich pineapple heritage.”

John Lawrence Jensen, of Denmark, arrived to the area in 1881.  He set up his plantation and began cultivating and farming pineapples. This area became known as the Town of Jensen. Jack Nicklaus Receives Muhammad Ali Legacy Award

On Tuesday, Sports Illustrated announced that Jack Nicklaus would be the latest recipient of the prestigious Muhammad Ali Legacy award. Diner en Blanc is a global mass “chic picnic” event, in a public space, spanning five continents.  It is an elegant “flash mob" gathering of diner guests, dressed formally in all white, participating in the refined elegance of Parisian days by gone.
