The Coronavirus vaccine  is available at Publix pharmacies.  The goal is to provide you up-to-date information on how to get your vaccine at select Publix pharmacies if you are eligible, while supplies last. Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy.

This morning Governor DeSantis visited Jupiter to announce that all 67 Publix pharmacies in Palm Beach County are getting ready to offer the COVID-19 vaccine beginning later this week.  The Town of Jupiter, located at 210 Military Trail, Jupiter, released the following update:

“Vaccines will be provided by appointment only through Publix system, based on availability.  Publix is maintaining a COVID-19 vaccination page where they are updating information when new vaccine locations are added and appointments are available.

On the morning of Jan. 19, 1977, snow fell in Palm Beach County.  I remember this day clearly as if it were yesterday!  I was in sixth grade at a small private school in West Palm Beach. It was 6:15 am and we left the house to get into my mother’s car for the long ride from the north end of the county south end to school.  On this exceptionally cold morning we blew “smoke” from our mouths with delight. Several sizable moving trucks arrived at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club on Palm Beach Monday morning.  The siting ignited conjecture that he and the family will be relocating to South Florida once he leaves office.

At least two trucks from J.K. Moving Services were positioned in front of Mar-a-Lago along with workers carting large moving boxes into the property.

Police expect Trump to arrive in South Florida on Inauguration Day. Tight security was evident with a United States of America helicopter and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office helicopter hovering over Mar-a-Lago and marine patrol boats monitoring things on the waterways.

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 18, 2021. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and social rights activist in the United States in the 1950s and ’60s. He was a leader of the American civil rights movement. He organized several peaceful protests as leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, including the March on Washington in 1963. Dr. King led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968.

The historical museum is within the walls of the historic 1916 Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach.  Learn about the rich and diverse history of Palm Beach County which has been preserved by the Historical Society of Palm Beach County.

The first day of the Stuart Boat Show was well received and with hopes for a better weekend turnout.
