A manatee rescued in West Palm Beach is now being treated in Miami at the Miami Seaquarium.  Police officers with Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach teamed up with officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to rescue the manatee near the Manatee Lagoon.  A spokesman at Manatee Lagoon said the manatee is being treated for a severe lung infection.  The good news is she is eating regularly now.

Manatee Lagoon is one of Palm Beach County’s fun and engaging family-friendly attractions, with interactive, entertaining exhibits that tickle your curiosity about the environment of the Lake Worth Lagoon and the wonderful world of manatees. Bedner's Farm Fresh Market takes great pride in being one of the few remaining family owned and operated farmer's market in Southeast Florida. The family takes pride in bringing fresh produce from the farm, grown right outside their back door.

The Town of Jupiter has a rich historic timeline filled with stories. Tales of the area ranging from the ancient Indians, Tequesta Tribe, that lived here until the European discovery of the area by Ponce de Leon. The Seminole Indian War battles fought here.  Jupiter’s earliest known records date as far back as 1565.  After early settlers set up homesteads, the waterways were a huge source of transportation, as well as the new Flagler Railroad.

The spokesperson for the Florida Lottery said a Palm Beach Gardens Publix Super Market sold one of three winning tickets in Friday's Fantasy 5 drawing.  The store in the Promenade Shopping Plaza on Alternate State Road A1A sold the ticket, which bore the number combination of 4-13-17-18-28. It paid $66,336.48.

The other winning tickets were sold in Aventura and Rockledge, the lottery official said.

Southeast Florida real estate predictions for 2021 are favorable! The National Association of Realtors chief economist, Lawrence Yun, has readied real estate predictions for 2021. Last year the housing market was on fire with record-low mortgage rates and relocations made possible by remote job opportunities.

It is anticipated that home sales will maintain+ the 2020 momentum and will carry into 2021. The record low mortgage rates have been the key factor for home buying despite a challenging pandemic plagued job market.  Jobs will steadily recover especially knowing that the vaccine distribution is just around the corner.
