A fun new tapas restaurant is coming West Palm Beach. The small-plate Spanish cuisine, Basque is set to open this Thursday, March 22nd at the historic Hotel Bida in the El Cid neighborhood. 

Hotel Bida is an historic inn built in 1929 by the famous architect Belford Shoumate and is an example of Bermuda Vernacular architecture. The hotel is one of the earliest motor lodges in the United States and has been included in the National Register of Historic Places. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their 15th Annual TurtleFest 2018 this upcoming Saturday, March 24th. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the free ocean conservation festival from 10 am to 6 pm.

The festival will include food, specialty drinks and craft beers, live music, yoga, a beach cleanup, educational and fun activities, shopping, sea turtles and much more. At the festival you’ll have a change to visit the sick or injured sea turtles located in the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Tomorrow night Wellington is hosting their first annual Family Fun Night and lakeside boat parade. The event will start at 4:30 pm and runs until 7:30 pm as part of the Village of Lake Wellington Event Series.

The theme for family fun night is Mardi Gras, and the boats will be decorated with décor and lights for the parade to fit this month’s theme. The boats will gather on the west side of Lake Wellington near the Meadowland Cove boat launch before beginning the parade at the end of the night. All boaters are encouraged to participate in the boat parade.
