Last night, December 10th, the famous Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival kicked off with an epic grand opening in Palm Beach. The First Bite party was hosted by Palm Beach’s hottest restaurant Buccan. The Sustain party was hosted at another one of the best eateries on the Island, PB Catch.

It is somewhat magnificently hideous. However, as far as an ugly Christmas sweater party goes, it is flawless!  Everyone loves to hate those horrendous Christmas sweaters. 

As far as chic fashion goes, it is somewhat gloriously ghastly, that dreaded ugly Christmas sweater you have hidden in the back of your closet!  However, for a holiday party theme, it is utter perfection! Charles Modica, local developer, is self-confident that town administrators and the public will see that his proposal, to turn four acres on Love Street into an open-air marketplace, as the “best use for the land”. The Town of Jupiter planning and zoning commission agrees. The commission voted 6-1, on Nov. 10, 2015, to recommend that the $30 million plan be approved.

Contingent on how the $30 million Jupiter Inlet Funky Fishing Village plan is received, as an enhancement or as an atrocity; the proposal is up for a vote on December 15, 2015. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, at 7 p.m,  Jupiter Town Hall, before the town council.

OpenTable is an online restaurant-reservation service for foodies and gourmets.  According to the OpenTable, it provides online reservations for about 31,000 restaurants around the world and seats about 15 million diners a month.  They released the “Top 100 Restaurants for Foodies in America”. The Holidays are right around the corner and south Florida will start lighting up with beautiful ornaments and festive décor. Taking place tomorrow is the annual celebration of the Delray Beach Tree Lighting. 

Every year around the holidays Delray Beach lights a 100-foot Christmas tree. The tree is a famous ornament that decorates the Old School Square grounds. It is so large that spectators can even walk through the enormous tree. 

Old School Square Cultural Arts Center is one of Delray Beach’s prized assets.
