The first day of the Stuart Boat Show was well received and with hopes for a better weekend turnout. Day 2 of the largest boat show on Treasure Coast will open for the second day this weekend, Saturday January 16 at 10:00 a.m. The annual boat show has been named as one of the “Top 20 Events” in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society last year.

Its that time of year again for the annual South Florida Fair. This year, the South Florida Fair is bringing everyone two fairs in 2021. The first fair which starts tomorrow January 15th through January 31st will be a mini fair and the full traditional fair will be held in May of this year.

The mini–South Florida Fair rolls into West Palm Beach this January 15th through 31st. The upcoming fair will be held outdoors and include the typical fair foods and beverages, a variety of local and tribute bands performing daily, shopping from local vendors, a giant sand sculpture, racing pigs, farm animals, rides, fair games, and much more.

Several local restaurants have teamed up together to participate in the first “Eat in for Education” event this January. The Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Restaurants and Lodging Association (FRLA) is hosting the virtual event to help support educational scholarships for local culinary and hospitality students. The event is scheduled to take place this January 20th and January 21st.

Fifteen local hotels and restaurants will participate by donating three-course takeout meals for the event. Diners will have a two-tier option to spend $50 or $100 dollars on a takeout meal for two. Palm Beach County residents are encouraged to participate and purchase these takeout meals to help benefit the event and help support local businesses.

Did you know that there are only two marked graves in Palm Beach?  Hidden among the dense green ferns of the Pizza Al Fresco courtyard off Worth Avenue, you will find the only cemetery in Palm Beach proper. Jupiter’s Abacoa hosts a weekly Open Air Dining every weekend throughout the winter. Dine outside along Town Center Drive in Jupiter at one of several restaurants located within Downtown Abacoa.
