The Town of Jupiter and the Village of Tequesta are nestled between Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart. Both areas cater to the outdoor style, as they wrap around the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway, which provide incomparable views to residents. For this reason, water sports and boating are abundant. Jupiter and Tequesta also offer their share of championship golf courses and pristine beaches frequented often under consistently sunny skies.

Fresh produce and one of a kind items will be abundant soon.  Vendors and artisans have been busy crafting unique items and gardeners have been tending to their produce in anticipation of the opening of the Village of Tequesta’s Green Market on October 6, 2013.  The third annual Green Market will be located again at Constitution Park, 399 Seabrook Road, Tequesta.

Visitors from Stuart to North Palm Beach flock to the Tequesta Green Market to purchase fresh produce and check out the crafts.  Perhaps pick up a few early holiday gift ideas or just enjoy the tranquil beauty and sounds of children’s laughter on the playground at Constitution Park.  Approximately 50 vendors have traveled from Boca Raton to Vero Beach to be at this celebrated event.

Her students have competed at the State level, National level, and in the World Special Olympics!

Varner met with Blueline Paddle Surf located in Jupiter’s “Funky Fishing Village”.   Alex Cotleur and Kim Depasquale, of Blueline, had done “a little bit of work with Surfers for Autism and it was such an incredible experience that we wanted to emulate that in the paddle community.”  It was a match made in heaven. Together they devised a paddle board program.

The secret is out on area beaches.  USA Today released a list of the “Ten Least Known Florida Beaches” and Blowing Rocks Preserve, in Hobe Sound, was on the national publications list.  The list identifies these well-kept secret sanctuaries.  Very few people have the luxury of having the beauty of unspoiled nature so close.

The Nature Conservancy owns Blowing Rocks.  It contains the largest Anastasia limestone outcropping on the U.S. Atlantic coast.  During extreme high tides and after winter storms, seas break against the rocks and force plumes of saltwater up through erosion holes up to 50 feet skyward. Thusly…

This year’s Labor Day weekend is predicted to see more Americans hit the road than in the past five years.  IHS Global Insight and AAA Travel cite the country’s improved employment situation and recovering home values for the upswing in the economy and the spike in travel plans.  Their reports predict that 34.1 million people will travel 50 miles or more within the country this Labor Day weekend. Beaches and barbeques are the conjecture for most.

“AAA is forecasting a lift in Labor Day travel this year due to the increasingly positive economic outlook and optimism in the housing market,” said AAA President and CEO Robert L. Darbelnet.  He is also quoted as saying, “For many Americans, their home is their biggest asset, as home prices improve in many parts…

It is every golfers dream to one day get their PGA Tour card and play at the highest level of professional golf. For two local golfers, those dreams could soon become a reality.

Despite missing the cut at the season ending Cox Classic on the Web.com tour, Jupiter resident Jamie Lovemark finished 12th on the regular season money list. With the top 25 on the money list automatically securing PGA Tour cards before the playoffs even start, Lovemark has ensured at least some type of status on the PGA Tour for next season.

Lovemark won the Midwest Classic back in July and finished the regular season with a win, three top-10 finishes and six top-25 finishes. He will have an opportunity to improve on that position and even achieve…
