February means the return of baseball for many fans. Spring Training brings a new season, new expectations, new players and goals for the upcoming MLB Baseball Season. Luckily for us here in Palm Beach County, four professional MLB teams play their Spring Training games at two of Palm Beach County stadiums.

Palm Beach County is home to Spring Training to the World Series Champions Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins. The Honda Classic is starting off the famous PGA Tour Golf Tournament this year with a Honda Classic Kick Off Party at the Gardens Mall.

The Kick Off Party is next Thursday, February 20th in the Center Court of the Palm Beach Gardens mall. Head to the mall for a night of fun and help kick off the week-long tournament starting Monday, February 24th with practice rounds and press conferences.

The Honda Class Golf Tournament will be back at PGA National Resort and Spa starting Thursday, February 27th through Sunday, March 1st. Tommy Fleetwood, Padraig Harrington, Justin Rose, returning Champion Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler are just some of the big named players committed to playing in the tournament this year.

Recently, The Maltz Jupiter Theater has announced its lineup of musicals and plays coming to the stage for the 2020-2021 Season of Productions and there is something for the whole family to enjoy.

The Maltz Jupiter Theater has recently undergone a renovation and expansion project that is set to take place over the next five years and will be completed in three different sections. On the second Friday of every month, Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa hosts their reoccurring Food Truck Invasions. Come out and taste some of the best food from some of the best Food Trucks in South Florida.

The River Center in Jupiter teams up once a month with the United States Coast Guard for a Boater’s Safety Course. The Safety Course is aimed for young adults and teens by all are welcomed to attend and learn more about safety on the water.

The class is taught in a lecture style class by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flortilla 52”. The State of Florida and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation requires that any person wishing to operate a vessel of 10 horsepower or more and is born after January 1st, 1988 must complete and pass a Boater Safety Course and receive their Boater Safety Identification Card.

Florida National Scenic Trail, or simply the "Florida Trail," runs through 1,300 miles ranging from the Big Cypress Preserve to the Gulf Islands. It's one of Florida's largest protected natural areas.

If you love hiking and live in South Florida, you’ve got to check out the Florida Trail especially now that it’s added a new section Cimarron, which extends west of State Road 85 in Crestview. This new path is 8.9 miles and dead-ends at the Yellow River. If you’re into wading through shallow waters, bushwhacking your way through trees and relaxing in a hammock at the end of it all, this is a trip for you.
