Friends of Jupiter Beach has been organizing beach cleanups on the FIRST Saturday of every month since 1994. Volunteers, ages 4 to 84 and multiple generations, arrive from 15 area zip codes to help remove trash & recyclables, then gather for a delightful continental breakfast & “thanks for coming” door prizes.

The Sunset Bike Ride at Jonathan Dickinson State Park is an easy ride on paved flat trails, it’s perfect for those looking to do something fun and relatively easy outdoors.

The Sunset Bike Ride will go a distance of about 10-12 miles at a 8-10 mph pace. For half of the ride you will be on trails with no cars. For the other half you will ride the main road where there may be a few cars and the speed limit is 25 mph. Sunset 603 pm. You will then watch the sunset from the top of Hobe Mountain Tower.

The 2019 Palm Beach Masters is the ultimate horse show and features three events between January and March. The Master series features international show jumping combined with a social scene to bring the horse shows to the next level. The three events take place at the Deeridge Farms in Wellington.

This year, the series has added another new event, called the Nations Cup which includes eight nations competing against each other, similar to the Olympic Games format.

The Deeridge Farms is a 300-acre facility that has been in the Jacobs Family for more than four decades. The main focal point of the farms is its exquisite grass fields and their state-of-the-art arena, perfect for all weather conditions.

Join the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse’s staff on a 2-mile trek through the 120-acres of outstanding natural area and discover that history is indeed shaped by nature.

The hike is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old.  Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried, tour is weather dependent. The streets of Mizner Park will once again be filled with a tremendous selection of art from across the country as the Boca Raton Museum of Art presents its 33rd Annual Museum Art Festival. One-of-a-kind art will be available for purchase including painting, sculptures, jewelry, fiber art, photography, ceramics, pottery, wood art, mixed media, graphic design, crafts, and art glass.  

All of the festivals proceeds help support the Museum’s educational programs for children and youth. Admission is complimentary and free parking is available in the garages at Mizner Park.

 The husband-and-wife team behind the popular Yakitori Sake House in Boca Raton have opened a much bigger restaurant just a few miles away. Tina Wang and Jason Zheng held the grand opening for Saiko-i Sushi Lounge & Hibachi in late 2018.

Saiko-I is located in The Shoppes at Village Pointe  and comes with very reputable history.  The corner location was home to the very popular Gatsby’s Bar for more than 20 years.
