The South Florida Fair is in town until February 3rd, so if you haven’t already been, don’t miss out! The Fair is one of the best regional events for parents, grandparents, and kids alike. There’s music, food, and, of course, lots and lots of rides.
Superhero Theme
The South Florida Fair features an all-new and different featured exposition every year. The theme this year is “Superheroes.” Since 1993, the themed expositions produced each year during the South Florida Fair are one of the most popular attractions of the 17-day event.
From children to adults, many of us have used our imagination to dream of possessing extraordinary or superhuman powers. That’s the stuff of superheroes and honoring them is what we have chosen as our 2019 Fair theme.

This Saturday come and watch history unfold in front of your eyes as reenactors take part in a re-creation of the last great battle of the Second Seminole War that happened at Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park on January 24, 1838. To give visitors a close-up look at the events that transpired and their historical significance, there will be guest speakers, exhibitors, weapons demonstrations and battlefield tours provided by the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists. It all starts at 9:00 a.m. with the reenactment taking place at 2:00 p.m.
