On Sunday, November 4th 2018, over 2,000 veterans and supporters will march in the largest Veterans Day Parade in Palm Beach County.

“Our hometown Veterans Day Parade is a perfect way for the entire community to take a time out and come together to show respect and appreciation for the men and women who have given and continue to give their all to insure the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the United States of America,” said Ron Bailey, Parade Co-Chair & Vietnam Veteran.

The first annual Concorso Ferrari Palm Beach takes place this Saturday on the green of Abacoa Golf Club, where 60 historic, classic, and modern models of these rare Italian sports cars will be on display for the public.

Open to Ferrari Club of America members only, and limited to the first 60 Ferraris registered, this competition of sporty-yet-stunning supercars honors POST, the Pediatric Oncology Support Team headquartered at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

Florida Atlantic University’s rock climbing center has opened an outdoor climbing center.  It is located at the north end of the campus in Boca Raton, 777 Glades Road.  It is open to the public Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. 

Rock climbing is an activity in which partakers climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a natural or artificial formation. The idea is to reach this point of an outlined predetermine route without falling.

To celebrate its 45th “Sapphire Season”, Palm Beach Symphony is planning to feature a Masterworks Series and a Chamber Music Series throughout 2018 and 2019.

The Masterworks Series will include five orchestral concerts, all conducted by Artistic and Music Director Ramon Tebar. Two concerts will be performed at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts, with other performances occurring at Benjamin Hall, Rosarian Academy, and Society of the Four Arts. Sea turtles tell us the health of our oceans, and the oceans tell us the health of our planet. Loggerhead Marinelife Center(LMC) in Juno Beach is working diligently to conserve the health of our ocean ecosystems through public education, research, and rehabilitation with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles.
