Tequesta, a small quite village located in northern Palm Beach County surrounded by the blue waters of the intracoastal waterway and the Loxahatchee River. Tequesta is located just north of Jupiter along US Highway One and to the west of the Jupiter Inlet Colony.

The village was named Tequesta after the Tequesta Indians and in the 1950’s was formed as part of one mans dream. Over the years Tequesta has become a wonderful waterfront and golf course community that over 7,000 people call home.

Tequesta is home to Constitution Park which hosts numerous events such as the Food Truck Pow Wow that occurs several times a year. The park has playgrounds, walking trails, basketball courts, fitness stations, picnic pavilions and a rock-climbing area to name a few.  Tequesta is also home to the Skate Park, Scrub Pine Putting Green, Tequesta Park, many great restaurants, and bars including the Tequesta Brewing Company, the popular Coral Cove Park featuring natural limestone and reefs that provide shelter for local marine life, and the Tequesta Recreation Center.

On the waterway, the Jupiter Tequesta Sandbar is a popular spot on the weekends for boats, jet skis and paddle boards to hang out for the day in the sun. The sandbar is located just past the lighthouse on the Intracoastal near the Jupiter Pointe Marina.
