Stuart, Florida, known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World” is a city on the water in Martin County. Stuart is located on Florida’s Southeast coast and because if its location along the banks of the St. Lucie River and Eastern point of the Okeechobee waterways many sailfish are found in the waters.

In 2016, the Coastal Living Magazine gave Stuart the prestigious “America’s Happiest Seaside Town” award in 2016. Stuart was also named by the Smithsonian Magazine the “#3 Must Visit Small Town”, “America’s Most Beautiful Small Town” and “Top Ten Beach Towns In Florida” by the Huffington Post.

Along Se Ocean Boulevard and the surrounding streets, you’ll find plenty of local shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, museums, art galleries and much more. Stuart is known for its historic and pedestrian friendly downtown area.

Every week, the town host weekly Green Markets, Live Music events, The Stuart Airshow every Spring, and other special events. There is also plenty of other outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, walks along the Riverwalk and more. Stuart is also home to the new Sailfish Splash Waterpark, a fun outdoor activity for the whole family.

Stuart is home to more than 16,000 people and is within close driving distance to Palm Beach International Airport for traveling out of state. Come and visit the Treasure Coasts historic gem town.
