Rapids Water Park is a popular summer attraction in Palm Beach County. The water park is the largest water park in all of South Florida with more than 30 acres of space. The park features 42 slides and attractions including a wave pool, lazy river, a kid’s zone, surfing, body boarding, and giant water slides.

The water park and slides range in all levels of intensity, some of the slides can hold up to 6 people at a time. This year marks the water park’s 40th Anniversary and opened for the summer season in March. Rapids can also accommodate and host special events, school trips, parties, and have cabana rentals to rent throughout the day.

The water park is divided into three sections: Thrills Rides, Family Rides and a Kid’s Zone. The Thrill Ride section features the biggest water slides with twists and turns. 45-degree angle drops, and two 70-foot high enclosed flume water slides. The Family Rides features six water slides that can hold up to 6 people in each with twists and turns at high speeds. The Kid’s Zone is the wettest area in the park and features a splash zone, kid’s zone, water foundations, and lazy rivers. Some of the popular slides include Big Thunder, Black Thunder, Brain Drain, Baby Blue and much more.
