October is a month full of fun, family fall-themed activities. Bring the kids and enjoy the Hobe Sound Hometown Festival, hosted by the GFWC Hobe Sound Woman’s Club.

The GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) was founded in 1890. It is an international women’s organization devoted to community improvement by boosting the lives of others through volunteer service. The club has more than 100,000 members in associated clubs in every state and over a dozen countries.

The festival is a free community event that will have entertainment, vendors, community information, a designated parking area for antique cars, a scarecrow building contest and the Sheriff Department BBQ unit. A great time for the entire family!

When: Sunday, October 13th from 11:00am – 4:00pm

Where: JV Reed – 9004 SE Hercules Avenue, Hobe Sound
