Jupiter Medical Center Ranked Among "The Best"
The Jupiter Medical Center has been ranked among “The Best” for the second year in a row. The local Jupiter hospital was ranked on the Palm Beach Post’s 2020 Best of Palm Beach County Awards. More than 270,000 voters have voted in the Palm Beach County Post.
The Jupiter Medical Center ranked “the best” for Best Hospital, Best Place To Have A Baby, and Best Emergency Room in the Palm Beach County Awards.
The Best Hospital
The Jupiter Medical Center consistently has the highest patient satisfaction scores in the area. The hospital has several other national recognitions and is the only hospital in Palm Beach County to receive a 4-star quality and safety rating from the Centers for Medicine and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Best Place To Have A Baby
Each year, more than 1,600 babies are being delivered in the Florence A DeGeorge Children’s and Women’s Services Obstetrics Unit. The Jupiter Medical Center has recently added a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which is equipped to care for babies born as early as 32 weeks.
The Best Emergency Room
In the past year, more than 40,000 people have visited the emergency room department at the hospital. The Jupiter Medical Center’s emergency department is ready and equipped for 24-hour care, 7 days a week to help patients with urgent medical issues. The hospital has recently added a Pediatric emergency department dedicated to younger patient and currently have several Urgent Care Centers located around Jupiter associated with the hospital.
