Every day the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts several events for the public to learn more about the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center and marine life. On Saturday mornings, the center hosts a Kids Fishing Program aimed for children ages 8 through 12.

Participants in the Fishing Program will learn the techniques and tricks to fishing from the Juno Beach Pier. The program will teach and explain the concepts of fishing, casting, fish handling, knot tying, and the proper catch and release techniques.  The program will also include information on how to be ethical anglers and reduce their impact on marine life.

The fish caught during the day will always be released. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided. Advanced registration is required to reserve a spot due to limited space.
