Lion Country Safari's New Water Park
The Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee has added a new water park and it is now open for business. The new Safari Falls is a much anticipated 10,000 square foot water attraction that opened Wednesday, July 31st.
Safari Falls features a 550-gallon dump bucket that splashes water every 5 minutes, water slides and water cannons. The new attraction is included in the cost of admission to the park and is located in the original Safari Splash Playground which was mainly used by small children. The new attraction is three times the size of the original water area and can accommodate up to 300 guests at a time.
Lion Country Safari is a drive through safari park, amusement park and now water park that is located on over 600 acres with over 1000 animals in Loxahatchee. The safari was founded in 1967 and claims to be the first cage-less zoo in the United States. Over the years, the safari has earned top titles such as One of the Best Top 10 Drive-Through Safari’s, Top 10 Amazing Zoo’s, Top Family-friendly Activity in Palm Beach County, and One of the Top 30 Best Zoo’s in the United States to name a few.
The gates are Lion Country Safari are open seven days a week from 9:30 am to 4:40 pm, the walk-through area closes at 5:30 pm. Click here to purchase tickets and to visit their website.
