A new wake park is coming to West Palm Beach this summer and is going to be one of South Florida’s premier cable and water park complexes. Shark Wake park is planning on opening in Okeeheelee Park on Saturday, June 15th.

Shark Wake Park was established in 2016 by Greg Norman Jr., the son of the world Golf Hall of Fame Member Greg Norman. Shark Wake Park builds and operates one of the world’s best cable wake parks and water parks for everyone. The West Palm Beach location will be the second Shark Wake Park location, the other location is in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Both Wake Parks feature 5 tower full size cable systems and one of the largest floating Aqua Parks on the east coast and the giant Shark Shacks.

The park will be open to the public at 10 am for a ribbon cutting ceremony with the City Officials, Greg Norman Jr., and Greg Norman. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, the park will officially be open for business. Throughout Opening Day, the park will feature live music by Spred the Dub, local food trucks. Pro waking boarding exhibitions, face painting and much more. The park is home to Shark Shack where visitors can enjoy food, drinks, and ice cream under the shade and watch the others on the water.

The park has two sections, an Aqua Water Park and a Cable Wake Park. The Aqua Water Park is the largest in Florida and covers an acre of water with different challenging levels for everyone to enjoy. The Cable Water Park’s system allows for some of the best wake boarding without a boat needed.
