With all the noise about coronavirus, flu, etc. its important that you keep yourself, family and the Palm Beach County community healthy. The most useful tip would be to remain calm and use common sense. The CDC and local health officials believe unless you are in a high-risk group, most people who do become infected with the virus will be fine.

There are some simple ways to bolster your immune system naturally. Your first defense is to strengthen your immune system. Keep in mind that sleep is imperative. Most people require 7 – 8 hours of sleep for it to be restorative sleep.   

Find ways to de-stress and relax. Stress weakens your immune system and leaves your body subject to disease. Medical research shows that a deeply relaxed state from reflexology, yoga or meditation can reduce stress, improve mood, increase energy thusly boosting your immune system.

Consume a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.  Eating healthy helps your body defenses maintain a healthy PH scale. Some of the easiest ways to help your body stay alkaline is to eat citrus.  Citrus fruits, although they are acidic, like lemons, prompt an alkaline process in your body. Drink fresh squeezed lemon in water daily.

Exercising is also well advised.  Moderation is key.  Regular exercise has been proven to better your immune system.  Keep in mind not to overdo the exercise and stress the body. Everything in moderation.
