Registration For Run 4 The Sea Is Now Open
Registration is now open for the 8th Annual Run 4 The Sea 2019. The run supports the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s mission of ocean conservation and sea turtle research and rehabilitation.
The run is a timed 4 mile run along A1A in Juno Beach and Jupiter. The race is Saturday, June 15th and is open to all runners and walkers who wish to participate. In addition to the 4-mile run there will be a 1-mile Kids Fun Run that will start at 8:15 am after the 4-mile run has started. The cost of the 1-Mile Kids Run is $20 dollars and it includes a child’s t-shirt and a finishers medal. Parents can either cheer on their child along the run or join in on the run for no additional charge.
The 4-mile Run 4 The Seas starts on Saturday, June 15th at 7 am. Awards will be giving to the Top 3 finishers for top overall, master and top three male and female in 13 different ages groups. Runner gift bags and finisher medals will be given to all participants. Registration begins on the morning of the race at 6:15 am or can be picked up prior to race day.
The cost for the run is $40 dollars from now until May 14th and the price for the run goes to $45 dollars per person after May 14th. Proceeds from the race benefit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and their mission. Click here to sign up for the race.
If you can’t make it, you can still show your support for the center and earn your medal and shirt by participating as a virtual runner. You are given flexibility to run anywhere and at any time. Being a virtual runner means no age limits or restrictions on how your clock in on your four-mile run. You do not need to submit your time you just need share your photo to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Facebook event page. Medals and t-shirts will be mailed to all virtual runners in July.
