The National Association of Realtors data shows existing home sales ascended again in June 2016. They stated, “Existing home sales maintained their upward trajectory in June and increased for the fourth consecutive month.”

The National Association of Realtors, “The Voice for Realtors”, is the United States principal trade association. They represent 1.1. million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate.

“Palm Beach County’s housing market is scorching,” Ten-X, a company that has profound roots in technology and real estate, said in its report released earlier this week. Seasonally attuned home values are up 16.8 percent year-over-year, “the highest pace in the country.”

Witness a very rare opportunity; observe a sea turtle hatchling release.  Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) is one of Florida’s unique non-profit educational and entertaining destinations dedicated to ocean and sea turtle conservation. Their vision is, “to be recognized locally and internationally as the leading authority in sea turtle education, research, and rehabilitation.”

It is located between Riviera Beach and North Palm Beach. John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is named for its previous owner, the philanthropist John D. With Florida’s spiny lobster season approaching, Sailfish Marina Restaurant is hosting the 4th Annual Singer Island Spiny Lobsterfest on August 6 from noon to 8pm. On the beautiful Jupiter Inlet stands a historical piece of real estate, a 1906 Sperry built boathouse.  Located within the Suni Sands mobile home park property, the significant structure will be demolished and transform into a historic hotel on the 10-acre site of the Jupiter Inlet.

William Sperry and his wife, who were owners of Sperry & Hutchinson Green Stamps, built the boathouse.  Most people of a certain age, who are from the South Florida area, will recall S & H Green Stamps from Publix.  Customers collected the stamps at the grocery store or gas station, pasted them into booklets and then redeemed them for various items from books, to shoes, to canoes and more.
