A subject due to be voted on July 19th by the town council involves the plans for a $500,000 mini golf course. This lavish mini course would be 18 holes and would find a home in the Jupiter community of Abacoa located on the northeast corner of Main Street and Chancellor Drive. 

On May 10th the planning and zoning commission of the town council “unanimously recommended approval” of the course as stated by the Palm Beach Post. The mini golf course if approved would be open for business in about a year’s time. The currently vacant property in which this mini golf course would be located was purchases in 2015 for $5.1 million. Since the spring of 2013, food trucks have been taking over Abacoa every second Friday of the month in the form of a “Food Truck Invasion.”

This fun and delicious event is a must try in Jupiter. The locals and tourists alike have flocked to the food trucks in droves for the tasty delicacies they offer. Coming in December to Abacoa is a beautiful, $70 million medical research center that will combine education; research and patient care all beneath one roof. This mega medical center is known as The Institute for Healthy Living. 

The same developers that created NuVista Living at Wellington Green in Wellington, Florida will develop this new medical center. The Palm Beach Gardens based developers intend to have a medical partnership with Jupiter Medical Center and a research partnership with Scripps Research Institute. The site features four buildings that will span 235,000 square feet. If you have a classic car or you just love to look at them, you have to check out the monthly classic car show at the Abacoa Town Center, in Jupiter, Florida. The Abacoa Town Center Cruise In is held on the first Saturday of every month and the next Classic Car Cruise-In is coming up this Saturday!

All of the streets that wind through the Abacoa Town Center are blocked off and are lined with impeccable classic cars and cool custom rods. The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium  and Bricks 4 Kidz would like to make youth camps, interesting classes and other fun events  readily available to the northern Palm Beach County Area.  The proposed new center will be in the Town of Jupiter’s Abacoa Community.
