The Town of Jupiter is once again releasing a Winter Activity Box for kids and families to bring the holiday spirit to everyone’s homes. The town’s recreation staff are working hard on filling up this Winter Activity box with crafts, treats, art projects, cooking projects, and an activity booklet to match the winter theme.

Boxes can be purchased online or at the Jupiter Community Center. The Winter Activity Boxes will be on sale starting Monday, December 7th and can be picked up at the Community Center during normal business hours. Be sure to grab your Winter Activity box early before they sell out for the season.

The City of West Palm Beach is getting ready to light Sandi The Christmas Tree this week. For the past several weeks, the waterfront has been transforming into the ultimate Holiday in Paradise filled with lights and holiday decorations.

The 35-foot, 700-ton tree made entirely of sand has been named Sandi by the city years ago and Sandi makes a debut with a different theme every year as part of their holiday tradition. New this year, is Sandi’s friend Hope, a flamingo who will help Sandi bring the holiday spirit to Palm Beach County this December.

Make your way to the waterfront this Saturday night for the 26th Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade. The boat parade starts from the Lake Worth Lagoon in North Palm Beach and makes its way north to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Hundreds of boats have already registered and are preparing to be all decked out with holiday lights, decorations, and music.

The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is the largest public holiday event in Palm Beach County. Thousands of spectators line the waterway to view the holiday cheer from their waterfront homes, waterfront restaurants, numerous parks, and public areas along the water.

Holiday activities are starting to begin in Palm Beach County. With Thanksgiving behind us, the Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is preparing for their Holiday Light Show. The lifestyle and retail destination kicked off the holiday season with a daily Light Show that is set to the rhythm of classic holiday tunes along the waterfront.

The Holiday Light Show will take place starting Friday, November 27th through December 31st from 6 pm to 9 pm. The lifestyle and retail destination is hosting Christmas Carolers from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Centre Court. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society has partnered together with Florida Power and Light Company to present Zoo Lights this holiday season.

Zoo Lights has quickly became a South Florida holiday tradition for families and friends. After hours, while the animals are sleeping, the Palm Beach Zoo will be illuminated for the holiday season. The zoo will be decorated with over 1 million eco-friendly lights every night.

Zoo Lights will be aglow from 6 pm to 9 pm with unique lights and theme displays from the entrance through the Florida Wetlands, Tropics of Americas and new to this year, Asia. Santa will be stopping by this year through December 23rd for your photo opportunity. Zoo Lights will feature special animal encounters and special treats.

Signs of the holidays are starting to arrive in West Palm Beach. Rosemary Square, formally CityPlace, is getting an early start on the holidays and starting this Saturday, the outdoor shopping and entertainment area is hosting their Nightly Snowfall and Lightshow.

Head to the center square and experience a snowy South Florida holiday season. The Nightly Snowfall and The Wishing Tree Lightshow will begin and kick off the holiday season this Saturday, November 14th and last until December 31st.
