The atmosphere may be a bit different but the delious tastes will be exactly the same as the 2020 Jupiter Food & Wine Festival goes virutal in 2020. Local chefs will be live demonstarting how to create some of thier most delectable receipes from some of the areas most prestigious restaurants.

All “attendees” will be given recipe ingredients ahead of the event to prepare each dish in real time or any time at all. Additionally, all those that purchase event tickets will recieve a coupon book filled with deals and discounts from local restaurants and shops.

One of the best features if not the best feature of Jupiter are its beaches. The miles of pristine beaches, lined with beautiful palm trees and sea grapes create a real heaven on earth for Jupiter residents and visitors. From the expansive, oceanfront estates of Jupiter Island to the chic high-rise condos in Jupiter and Juno Beach, the beachfront is the apple of our eye when it comes to Jupiter. 

With the generous support and help of local organizations and residents, beach cleanups have tremendously helped keep our precious beaches healthy. This time of year is sea turtle nesting season in Florida. The majestic sea turtles make their way out of the ocean and onto shore to lay their eggs. During the summer months, Jupiter becomes a safe haven for nesting turtles that have been coming to lay their eggs on these beaches for hundreds of years. 

The town makes a great effort to change all of the beach road lighting to an ambient red color that will not disturb the turtles and prevent them from coming ashore to nest. The traffic lights get a special filter that makes the light only noticeable to cars driving along the road and the correct angle and of course there are strict rules observers must follow when it comes to watching the turtles nest. The Friends of Jupiter Beach organization “is a grassroots, volunteer-driven not-for-profit group dedicated to keeping a special section of Jupiter Beach clean & dog-friendly in northern Palm Beach County.” since 2006, the Friends of Jupiter Beach and all of their volunteers have cleaned up over 49,000 lbs. of trash off of our beaches! The Friends of Jupiter Beach began in 1994 when the beloved dog beach in Jupiter was under threat of being closed. You can get an up close and personal encounter with thousands of turtles every Wednesday through Saturday in June and July right here in Palm Beach County. These guided turtle walks allow visitors to learn about and observe the nesting and egg laying process of sea turtles.

Guests are guided by experienced Loggerhead Marine life Center scouts. Tours go throughout pre-patrolled, designated sections of Juno Beach. It is of upmost importance that the turtles are not disturbed and shown the upmost respect. This exclusive, special experience will show visitors a nice variety of sea turtles including: leather backs, loggerheads, green turtles and more.
