This October, the Friends of Jupiter Beach’s annual Food and Wine Festival will still go on but this year, the festival is going virtual. The festival will celebrate the non-profit organization through video presentations from local chefs and bartenders.

The Food and Wine Festival is scheduled to begin at 4 pm on Saturday, October 17th. The event will highlight some food offerings in the area while celebrating the Friends of Jupiter Beach’s mission. Some of the restaurants participating in the virtual event include Café Chardonnay, Tommy Bahama, Leftovers Café, and Copper’s Hawk.

Palm Beach Island’s popular outdoor shopping and dining destination hosts a weekly fitness series called Royal Sweat Outdoor Fitness Series. The Royal is hosting an outdoor fitness series that will give you a chance to stay fit and healthy seven days a week. Every Monday through Sunday, the outdoor fitness class will get your moving, stretching, and sweating in their new fitness series.

Palm Beach County Commissioners modified the timeline to reopen venues and extend restaurant hours earlier than expected. The commissioners revised the county’s Phase Two plan during a planned meeting yesterday afternoon.

The revised plan was drafted during last week’s, September 15th meeting and if the county continued to go forward in the direction we are headed, the commissioners would revise the timeline to reopen more of Palm Beach County. At yesterday’s meeting, the board directed the staff to modify the timeline and re-open venues earlier than anticipated.

Starting today, Friday, September 25th, all restrictions related to the operating hours of businesses and establishments will be lifted and businesses came resume their normal hours of…

Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, formally known as Downtown at the Gardens is back open and ready for you to come to dine and shop at one of several shops, boutiques, hair salons, movie theater, and restaurants.

The outdoor shopping and lifestyle center underwent a name change in the beginning of the year to officially change its name to Downtown Palm Beach Gardens. In addition to the name change more stores and restaurants will be coming to the Downtown.

Currently the outdoor center is under construction to add the new Lifetime Athletic Center, a resort style fitness center that will feature 3-stories of fitness classes, a rooftop bistro, and a spa.

The Downtown at the Gardens opened in 2005 with Whole Foods and Cobb Theaters as its anchor stores.…

Just a short drive north could mean big time waves for Martin & Palm Beach County surfers! 

A simulated surf park may be on its way to the Treasure Coast as part of a $595 million development plan in Fort Pierce. The “Willow Lakes” proposal would bring an estimated 800 residential homes, 600 hotel rooms and 400,000 square feet of retail space along with thousands of potential jobs. 

The first phase would feature the WaveGarden and food and beverage facilities. It may also include a 150-room hotel. The surfing center itself, "Surfworks Resorts" is expected to create 139 jobs and $15.6 million economic impact annually, according to a study by the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County.
