The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach has added another event to their list of calendar events. The new event is called Pier History and it is every Sunday morning in Juno Beach.

Pier History is for all those wanting to learn more about the Juno Beach Pier. During the 30 minutes, you’ll learn all about the history of the 990-foot-long pier that the Loggerhead Marinelife Center began managing in 2014.

The Juno Beach Pier is a full-service saltwater fishing pier with a Pier house, Guest Service team, Gift Shop, Snack Bar and Fishing pole rentals and bait. The pier is situated in Juno Beach Park and is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.

Head to Tequesta this Saturday afternoon for the 9th Annual Tequesta Chili Cookoff. The event is hosted by the Tequesta Fire and Rescue team.

The Chili Cookoff helps raise money to help our nation’s veterans for four great charities, the SE Honor Flight, Operation 300, Renewal Coalition and Friends of Public Safety.

The event is for those ages 21 and older and includes an all-inclusive beer tasting event by the Tequesta Brewing Company and the ultimate chili cookoff. Come and taste more than 25 different chili recipes from the competing fire rescue teams. Music will be provided by 56 Ace Band with performances by the Black Pearl Pipes and Drums. The Town of Jupiter opened a new dog park summer of 2018, Cinquez Park, 2183 West Indiantown Road, Jupiter.   The dog park has been so well received.  It includes an exercise and play area for our furry friends.  The park is an open space located directly north of the intersection on Indiantown Road and Center Street.  

The bark park contains ample lit parking, restroom, sidewalks, gazeboes, a lake, and attractive, large, enclosed green areas for the pups to play.  There is a fenced-in dog run for smaller dogs and a detached, enclosed larger green area for larger breed.  The park is so well thought of, it even has bathing stations, bowls for fresh water, water spickets and poop stations with bags. for Fido.

There is a new restaurant coming to Palm Beach Gardens this November. FireFin Grill is taking over the former Carmine’s Ocean Grill on PGA Boulevard.

FireFin is the newest seafood and steak restaurant coming to Palm Beach Gardens. The restaurants is aiming to open on Friday, November 15th and the restaurant aims to fight the lionfish invasion one delicious plate at a time. The new restaurant’s name FireFin describes the reddish fish with vibrant stripes and spiny fins.

The new restaurant is part of Twisted Management Group which also own The Twisted Tuna waterfront restaurant in Port Salerno. The Management Group is also looking to open The Twisted Tuna’s second location in Jupiter.
