A lively little speakeasy on the Singer Island has quite a backstory. As the legend goes, McCoy was a moonshiner here in South Florida during the times of Prohibition.  He had a hidden speakeasy and a reputation for the best moonshine. People from all walks of life came to indulge in his spirits. To hide from authorities, McCoy had livestock and goats on his land.  The only problem was that the goats would knock over the stills and drink the moonshine.  Guests of the speakeasy loved to watch the drunken goats and relish the evening.

Two Drunken Goats Beach Cantina,  2509 Ocean Avenue, Singer Island, is located in the outdoor Ocean Mall on the municipal beach in Riviera Beach a/k/a Singer Island.  It is a lively place to grab breakfast, lunch,…

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, located at 1451 South Olive Avenue, is currently closed for renovations.  The renowned museum which has been moving toward its $100 million capital goal, made a big leap with a $16 million donation from philanthropist, seasonal Palm Beach resident and self-made hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin.

It comes as no surprise to the art world that Mr. Griffin enjoys collecting art.  However, when Griffin  spent $500 million in February 2016 to buy two paintings by Willem de Kooning and Jackson Pollock he not only made waves in the art market, it was a tsunami!  Because of the donation, the museum will honor Mr. Griffin's name on the new 59,000-square-foot wing, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect…

So many holidays, so little time. Americans love their fast food and here’s a new national holiday I wasn’t familiar with, National Chicken Tender Day! The celebration begins today, Friday, July 27, 2018. How did this happen after all, chickens don’t actually have fingers, do they?

Chicken tenders/fingers aren't all that complex. Take a chicken breast, bread it, fry it, and there you have it. Chicken tenders have been a staple of fast food restaurants and kids' menus far and wide. The Puritan Backroom in Manchester, N.H., claims to have invented the tenders back in 1974. The chef would trim the chicken breast and decided not to waste, so he breaded and fried the golden nuggets.

Stop by participating Palm Beach County Wendy’s and revel in the…
